Integrative Insight Into Human Health
Health & Life
Health & Life is a project dedicated to prevention, health promotion and education. It combines science and integrative medicine with other current fields of research and intervention, such as epigenetics and neuroscience applied to well-being.
It offers individual sessions and personalised programmes based on its own working model: Humanistic Neuropsychology. This model has been developed through clinical practice and studies how each person’s biological and emotional response takes shape throughout the different stages and circumstances of life.
The platform also brings together a selection of high-quality products and educational materials related to health, longevity and skin care. This line includes nutritional supplements from reference brands, skin care products formulated with ingredients of natural origin, specialised training and other proposals related to health and general well-being.
Meet Olga
Founder of Health & Life
I am a health and psychology advisor, specialised in public and community health. During my university years, I began to observe some of the limits of the conventional clinical model, often too focused on the treatment of symptoms and less on the relationship between the biological, emotional and contextual factors of each person.
Over the years, I have lived in different countries, where I have met people from all over the world. This cultural exchange has been, for me, one of the most enriching experiences of my life and the one that has most changed the way I understand health and the functioning of the human body.
In 2023, the Health & Life project was born, as a result of this long journey of personal and professional growth.
Health, Science and Integrative Medicine
A broader understanding of health
More than 2,400 years ago, the Hippocratic tradition already defended the idea that the body should be understood as a whole. Other medical traditions, such as Chinese medicine and Ayurveda, have also interpreted health through the relationship between body, mind, habits and environment.
However, with the development of modern medicine, this perspective was partly displaced by a more specialised medicine focused on organs. This new vision allowed decisive advances in the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases, but it also showed that a person’s health often requires a broader reading of their process. As a result of this limitation, functional medicine began to gain presence in the field of health, focusing on the study of causes and the relationships between the different systems of the body.
Health & Life proposes placing scientific knowledge within an integrative approach to health, with the aim of supporting recovery processes that are better oriented, more stable and more coherent with each person’s needs.
